just finished listening to New Day Crusade, by Joshua The
Scribe, and I am floored by his ability to combine
spiritual insights, funky grooves, mellow hooks, catchy
lyrics and even the didgeridoo into an extremely cohesive,
well produced album. This is hip hop music that the
listener can actually gain wisdom from, something that is
EXTREMELY rare. But it's a lot more than rap. It's true
poetry, it's funk, it's Hope for the future, it's a wake
up call to get the sleeping masses up off their asses, and
it's a hell of a lot of fun from start to finish

New Day Crusade is one of the most true to life poetry or
hip hop albums I've ever heard. Joshua's "Madman"
song is definately a piece that'll make you realize just
how insane we all really are. The whole CD is Fantastic.
